Goddess Delight Soap Company came about in May of 1999. My husband had been having problems with the local water drying out his skin. I decided to research into handmade soap to see if I could make something that might prevent the extreme flakiness and itching he was experiencing. After talking to a few people locally and over the Internet I decided to give it a try. I do not use any animal fats in my soaps. I select quality fragrance oils and vegetable oils for our soaps. All our soaps are labeled with a best if used by date. The color and scent may start to fade at that point. However I have had some soaps that still smell great a year after the date.
